With hate crimes and noose hangings on the rise across the country, we must have the federal government protect us from local hate and bigotry. From Mychal Bell in Jena, Louisiana, Vernon Balmer Jr. in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Sean Bell in New York, it is time for the federal government to intervene, and you can help us achieve this objective.

"What do we want?" the Rev. Al Sharpton shouted out to a crowd prepared to march around the department's headquarters. "Justice!" the crowd responded.
